Route Monitoring and RGS remain committed to ownership empowerment as demonstrated by both entities having achieved a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor status. Ownership and management control of these entities vests fully with historically disadvantaged individuals (“HDIs”). Employment Equity is ensured by 90% of Executive Management being HDIs.
RM and RGS are passionate about skills development, and transfer. It is our belief that the success of an organisation can be measured by the success of its employees. Whilst existing staff are encouraged to continuously improve personal skills levels, there is also a focus on the sponsoring of learnership programmes to HDIs. It is our goal to shape the careers of aspiring interns by providing them with guidance relating to the workplace and the gambling industry as a whole. These learnership programmes specifically focus on information technology, engineering, and compliance.
It has become an international trend that companies have to outsource their manufacturing to countries such as China to remain competitive. We are extremely proud of the fact that we are able to manufacture the high-quality system hardware, such as the Site Data Logger (“SDL”), in South Africa, while remaining extremely competitive.
